SunMarc does not collect, store, sell, or share your GPS tracks, live location, waypoints, routes, or imported navigation files.
Data we collect
SunMarc does not ask you to create an account for GeoPoint: Waypoint Navigator and does not collect personal information directly through this app on SunMarc-operated servers.
Local processing and local data
- Waypoints, routes, imported files, exported files, and navigation preferences are handled on your device.
- SunMarc does not operate a server that stores your location, routes, or waypoint library.
App permissions and device features
- Location access is used to show your position, bearing, speed, and distance to waypoints.
- File access or document picker access may be used when you import or export GPX/CSV files.
- Network access may be used for ads and any map or connectivity features available in the app.
Advertising, purchases, and third parties
Free and ad-supported.
When ads are shown, third-party advertising partners such as Google may process limited device, app, and advertising data to serve, limit, and measure ads. SunMarc does not sell your personal data and does not receive personal profiles from ad partners.
Google Play, Android, device manufacturers, ad networks, billing providers, or other third-party services may process data under their own privacy policies and platform controls when their services are used.
Data sharing
SunMarc does not sell your personal data. SunMarc does not share app-created personal files, local history, local settings, or local gameplay/calculation data from GeoPoint: Waypoint Navigator with SunMarc servers.
Data retention and deletion
Because the app data described above is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by using in-app delete/clear controls where available, clearing the app data through Android settings, or uninstalling the app. Data processed by third-party services is controlled by those services and your platform settings.
Children
GeoPoint: Waypoint Navigator is not designed to collect personal information from children on SunMarc servers. If you believe a child has provided personal data to SunMarc, contact us so we can review the request.
Important notes
GeoPoint is a navigation aid. Always use judgment, local conditions, official charts/maps where needed, and backup navigation methods.
