Summary
Starfall is an arcade space-invader game. It does not require an account. Scores, progress, upgrades, settings, and ad-pacing information are stored locally on your device and are not sent to SunMarc-operated servers.
The app is ad-supported and uses Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect and share limited device and usage data to provide, measure, and protect advertising services.
Data handled by the app
SunMarc does not ask you to provide a name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information in Starfall.
- Local game data: best score, best wave, earned shards, run and kill totals, upgrades, sound and haptic settings, and ad-frequency counters.
- Storage: this information stays on your device using Android app storage.
- SunMarc servers: SunMarc does not operate a server that receives or stores your gameplay history or local profile.
Advertising and third-party data
Starfall uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google settings, Google Mobile Ads may automatically process:
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app interactions such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, and video views;
- diagnostic information such as app or SDK performance; and
- device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available.
This data may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy controls. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.
Consent and advertising choices
Where required, the app uses Google's consent tools to request advertising consent and may offer a “Privacy & ad consent” option in Settings. If consent is not available or is declined where applicable, the app requests non-personalized ads. You can also reset or delete your Android advertising ID in Android settings.
Permissions and device features
- Internet and network-state access support advertising and normal network connectivity.
- Advertising-services and advertising-ID permissions support Google Mobile Ads.
- Vibration supports optional haptic game feedback.
- Wake-lock and foreground-service capabilities support reliable app and advertising operations while the app is in use.
Starfall does not request camera, microphone, contacts, storage/media, or precise-location permission.
Data sharing and sale
SunMarc does not sell personal data. Starfall does not send local gameplay data to SunMarc. Data handled by Google Mobile Ads may be shared with Google and advertising partners as described above for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Data retention and deletion
You can erase locally stored game progress with the in-app “Reset all progress” control, by clearing Starfall's app data in Android settings, or by uninstalling the app. Advertising data retained by Google or its partners is governed by their policies, retention rules, and user controls.
Children
Starfall is a general-audience game and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children on SunMarc servers. If you believe a child has provided personal data to SunMarc, contact us so we can investigate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its advertising configuration, or legal requirements change. The updated date above will identify the current version.
