Starfall: Neon Invaders Is Ready to Light Up Google Play

Starfall: Neon Invaders neon arcade shooter feature graphic.
One thumb, one ship, and a descending wall of neon invaders: Starfall is built around the pull of one more run.

The wall is falling. Your ship is outnumbered. There is no time to search for the fire button—because there isn't one.

SunMarc App Labs has launched Starfall: Neon Invaders, a fast, portrait arcade shooter for Android built around one-thumb movement, automatic fire, and the dangerous temptation to squeeze one more score out of every run.

Drag anywhere on the screen to steer. Your ship handles the shooting. That leaves you free to read the formation, slip through closing gaps, catch falling power-ups, and decide exactly when to unleash the screen-clearing shockwave that could save the run.

Arcade action without control clutter

Starfall is designed to get out of the player's way. There are no virtual sticks, separate fire buttons, lengthy tutorials, or complicated setup screens. The ship follows your thumb and fires automatically, turning every run into a direct test of movement, positioning, and nerve.

Invader formations descend wave after wave, accelerating and pressing closer as the run continues. Clearing the screen only earns a moment of relief before the next formation begins to fall. It is easy to start. Staying alive is another matter.

Play greedily, score dangerously

Back-to-back eliminations build a combo multiplier all the way to 5x. Keeping that chain alive means taking sharper lines and staying close enough to the action to maintain the rhythm.

Safe play can keep a run alive, but brave play sends the score climbing. From wave four onward, armoured golden elites join the formation. They take four hits to break and always drop something useful, making them valuable targets precisely when the screen is becoming harder to control.

Turn pressure into power

Charge the Nova Core and trigger a shockwave to clear the screen when the invaders are nearly on top of you. Fire it too early and you may regret it on the next wave. Wait too long and the opportunity disappears with your ship.

Catch a falling shard and triple-shot transforms the next eight seconds into a burst of three-way fire. Used well, it can break a formation, extend a combo, and turn a collapsing run into a new personal best.

Every run strengthens the next one

Star Shards collected during play can be invested in permanent upgrades:

The loop stays simple: fly, dodge, score, collect, upgrade, and launch again with a stronger ship and a better plan.

Made for quick play, built for repeat runs

Starfall plays in portrait, works offline, restarts instantly, targets smooth 60fps play, and comes in a small download. There is no account, login, energy timer, or waiting period between you and the next attempt. Scores, upgrades, and progress stay locally on the device.

The game is free and ad-supported, with one rule that matters: ads never interrupt an active run. Banner ads stay on menus, and a full-screen ad may appear only after a run has ended. Optional rewarded ads can provide a second chance, double earned shards, or load triple-shot at launch.

A focused new arcade release from SunMarc

Starfall joins SunMarc's growing collection of focused mobile experiences with a clear promise: simple controls should not mean shallow play.

The first run takes seconds to understand. The pursuit of a cleaner dodge, a longer combo, a smarter shockwave, and a higher wave can last much longer.

The formation is already descending. How far can you get before the wall lands?
